We start a new discussion in this episode. Ian Campbell is the CEO of the SAAS solution Mission Suite. Not surprisingly, we start the conversation with his background and the path to creating this product. He has a background that is possibly different from what you would expect from a software CEO. However, his software solution approach has tips for us all.

The Value Of A SAAS Solution

There are many arguments for building or buying a software solution. However, the SAAS approach takes some of those items out of play. The traditional needs for installing and maintaining software, training, and high up-front costs are wiped away. Those burdens are shared among the customers, allowing us to step into enterprise solutions at small business costs. Likewise, we can grow our solution with our business, so our risk is reduced. We get the features we need as we need them. Ian provides several examples of why these solutions are often the best choice.

A Little Background

Ian Campbell is an entrepreneur and business owner who works with small business owners and other entrepreneurs to help them build automated sales processes to more predictably build their businesses through networking and referrals. With over 20 years of sales, business, and entrepreneurship experience under his belt, he’s “been there and done that…or at least tried it a few times.” and has worked first hand with clients and business partners to REALLY grow their businesses with networking and referrals. Ian lives in Vermont with his wife and two-year-old son, and is also a performing and recording musician just about to release his first EP in the world of streaming. You can usually find him out exploring the woods, on a ski lift, or out on the water (depending on the season ;)).
