RSS Reader and Promoter - Part 3

2021-12-23 •Youtube

Detailed Notes

This is the final part of a tutorial and overview for the RSS Reader and Promoter (reader.rb-sns.com) site. We get into the questions and answers part of the presentation. Our goal was to provide an easy way to read and share articles. You can schedule posts for social media sites and easily keep up with all of the latest news. While we have started a list of RSS feeds for your use, you can easily add any others to the list, and they will be shared with other users. However, you will be able to keep track of which article you have read or shared.

A Repository of Articles When we grab the articles for a feed, we store as much of the original content as possible. Therefore, you can refer to posts made years ago and long after a site has ceased to exist. The Internet can often feel like shifting sand. One of our goals is to make it a little more firm and useful for discussions.

Users can share articles and add comments around the post (limited to the social site features) and see both the original content and their share comments.

Getting Started It is (currently) free and easy to get started. Just register an account on reader.rb-sns.com. Then click on the "Subscribe to New Feed" button on the home page. You can add a new feed or select one that someone else has created. You should see posts for a brand new feed appear within a day. If not, please send an email to [email protected] so we can help get it live. Please note that some feeds provide limited article information, so you may not get as much as others.

Once you have subscribed to feeds, click on the Articles menu item. This will pull the most recent 100 unread articles matching your feed or across all subscribed feeds. You can mark an item as read or click on the read article or post article buttons to shift it to read status. We offer the full article content where possible. You can click on view original to go to the original site link (if still available).

Post Targets You can read articles almost immediately upon subscribing to feeds. However, if you want to share them, you need to set up targets for those shares. This is done on the post targets page. A button labeled "Create A New Target" takes you to link to your social sites. All you have to do to get started is pick a name for the target and select the social site.

An example would be to create a target for your personal Twitter feed. You can label it "Personal Twitter" and then select Twitter as the "lkpTarget." Once you save a target, click on edit to Authorize the target. That will take you through the site-specific steps to authorize RSS Reader to post to your feed or page.

Posting Articles When you post an article, you can add content to your post. This is entered in the description text field. Sites vary support for this, so test it out for your chosen targets. You can also add an image URL for sites that support that. Currently, we have limited image support. Select a target site you have configured (via Post Targets) and set a time to post it. You can set up time slots for scheduled posts to ease your administration of regular content flow.

Once you post the item, it can be viewed via the Articles view activity filter or "My Schedule" menu item. You can post and duplicate to quickly post to one target and then select a second target or time to post the article.

Scheduling Posts We do not have to post an article right away. We can set it to go out in the future. This is done by selecting the desired date and time on the post screen. You can streamline this process by going to the "Time Slots" page. Here you enter a day, time, and target site to give yourself some pre-built time slots throughout the week. These can be deleted if you want to change them around. These will show up in the slots selector on the "post" page to speed data entry for upcoming posts and avoid doing date arithmetic in your head.

Unused Articles Articles that have been marked read but never posted fall into the unused category. You can always run back through these for more content. Note that it pulls all articles, which can become a rather long list and take some time to retrieve. However, you can read or post articles from here and catch up on things you may have found uninteresting in the past.

Feel free to check back here regularly for updates and a FAQ as we get feedback on the RSS Reader and Promoter. You can also click on the contact form to send us ideas or bug reports. Enjoy!

and so now okay so let's take a look
in the posting article actually i guess
there's two things here let's go back to
first
uh we did i showed you some of the
basics about it is that you can schedule
it um you could have one that's just
posted and just sort of save it for
yourself
and you actually there's a feature that
you can actually create your own rss
feed but that's an advanced thing i'm
not going to cover it's also a
sort of a 2.0 feature that has not been
fully tested
so what i can do is i can pick a target
i can push something into the future so
if i want to do this on the 25th
and i'm going to pick a
that guy
slots i'll show you in a second so i'm
going to duplicate it and i'm going to
get a couple of these just so we've got
a few here
and then same thing and let's do it
again on 7 30. so and i'm going to post
that and now you can see where those
were showing up if i go to my schedule
i can see oh this is what's
i got so oh because i already marked
these as posted so these are actually
going to be
i'm just restoring these out right now
these have not actually been posted i
should have scheduled these that was my
mistake so i can go in
with each of those i can repost it so if
i do a repost it's just like a duplicate
so it's going to come in with the
original information
i can schedule it and then i can give it
you know some date in the far future or
in the future
so if i do that and post it
oh i can post it somewhere so i post it
here post it
now it's going to show up there's that
august one so that shows up in there
if i go to my schedule i can see with
now because that has not been
posted
i can go in i can take a look at it and
i can actually remove it because it has
not been posted
now the other thing in a post is there's
this little slots thing and this allows
you to do
uh time slots ahead of
um
ahead of sort of to set up your own
social schedule
so i could say
every monday at
uh let's say 8 a.m
i'm gonna post uh and i'm going to tie
this i'm going to tie this to a specific
target so on this target i created
i want to have monday
at 8
monday at let's say 10
and let's see i'm going to assume this
is still working because i think it just
didn't refresh on me so now if i look at
my time slots
oh it's not coming out right so let me
see what did i do
i may have broken something
make sure i got this right
don't valentine
something's not right on this let me try
it on a different one i may have just
found a bug okay let me log out and go
to a regular one
where i have some
i'll just skip ahead to this
so now
uh this one
and so i've come through and i've got
all of these different
uh slots that i've created you can see
so i've got posting to different targets
on a sunday a monday
um
oh and that's where it is so that thing
was giving
yeah so it came into the wrong slide so
there's a little bug there that it was
posting it was adding the queue to the
wrong place
but what i can do is i can come in and
create new ones so let's do sunday at
i don't know two in the afternoon
i'm gonna post to one of these
and i'm gonna see here that that
just showed up
now what i have from the let me delete a
couple of those i can delete them and so
they won't show up
[Music]
let's get rid of that and that because i
already had those
let's get rid of that
so 7 11 and note that i can make it it
doesn't have to be like a set time
particularly
and then what happens when i go in and
do a post
oops
well here's
let me go to an article and just post
something real quick
let's see so if i do
[Music]
let's pick something let's go something
off of uh
let's do smashing
so here we go i like this guy so if i'm
gonna do a post
now what i can do here is
can pick a slot and it's going to set
the time for me so let's say i wanted to
do
i'm going to push this as linkedin
tuesday at 10 o'clock i'm going to use
that slot
so now what it did
is there's where the slot is this is the
next tuesday
uh you know currently it is saturday the
19th so it's going to just jump ahead
and right now it's only a week ahead so
you can do it for the week ahead
and that's a quick way to set a time i
can give it the target
and
post it and now i'm off and running so
linkedin on tuesday if i go look
at my schedule i'm going to see
what was that the one that was
smashing there we go so i can see here
although this is sort of small let's
even blow this up a little bit
so here's where i have that scheduled
out and if i look at the detailed
history i can see
really not a whole lot to it
if i look at
gosh go away
if i go to
[Music]
let's go here i think i had on history
where did i put my history oh activity
here we go
so this thing this is an older account
so i've got i can see stuff all the way
back what have i done now i can go back
and say well what did i do with this
article for example
and i look at the history i can see this
thing
i posted it on october 8th at 9 16
to three different places i went to
twitter looks like it went there three
times i must have been testing something
now even though
and this is actually i broke this
account out so this is a target uh
currently that doesn't exist but i have
it for historical purposes
uh development or twitter i'm not
actually posting that these days
but i could still turn around and do a
repost and it's going to give me the
original article stuff i had like here
for example i did a little hashtag aws
that i threw in there
and now it's scheduled for essentially
you know today i can schedule it out i
can pick a slot which just doesn't have
any right now
and i can go off and running so that's
an interesting thing is that the repost
doesn't have slots
but i also can still go back from here
on the history i can see where the prior
post was and this is almost getting a
little bit unreal because i'm blowing
the text up so big but now i can get
back to
oh i'm sorry i didn't want to drag and
drop but i can see the original article
and if i wanted and like you can see
here the content's pretty thorough this
is one
um oh i think this was from developer
nor is that what it was
um no this is from aws so aws feedburner
so this is amazon's feedburner and
they've got even including like uh you
know videos embedded all this stuff is
in the article itself or
i can jump back to
the original here
which i'm either going to click on the
link or i think it's down at the bottom
it wasn't
oh i don't have the original link
necessarily built in here
but i can
take that
and let's see if it still exists
and it does
and so you see where it's you know this
thing's although it was from a while
back
uh we can still see
roughly like i said theirs is going to
be formatted a little bit differently
but we'll probably see the video there
you go video down at the bottom
and so you can actually go back and see
something that even if you weren't so
you know even if you signed up today and
registered you'd be able to go back and
see some of these older articles so it's
a great way
uh to come back and and see what was out
there
and also to track
i use it also it's a great way to track
as a repository for information track
stuff that maybe gets rolled off of a
site
this is actually very useful
particularly if you wanted to do
something like a link to
maybe a software version or something
like that that you know maybe that stuff
sort of falls off the site but the
the link is still there
or instructions that sometimes get
updated over time
for example let's say you've got
an article on java that's an older
instructional article you want to keep
it even though it over time it's
obviously going to disappear as new
versions come out
you can have that stuff out there
so it's again like i said it's a
it is a 1.0 version of an interface but
uh it's something i've started to use i
use actually regularly now uh you can it
is um
if you go here
i don't know how well you can see it but
it is
um i guess this background crap out of
the way
is you can actually do it on a phone as
well so i could come in and i i do on a
regular basis so i can come in i can
take a look at articles
and i can go through and i can read them
or or mark them as read
and it's going to give you the same kind
of an experience so it is a
great way to have a reader that's
available to you wherever
you want to read articles and you know
handle some of your social networking
kinds of stuff
let's jump back to the presentation
so as a
wrapping up sort of what we've learned
so the reader and promoter is uh
hopefully you've seen that it's a simple
tool for reading articles that's that is
uh while you can post the the nicest
thing about it i found so far and the
thing that i've really focused on
streamlining is the ability to subscribe
to a feed see the latest articles mark
them as read share them
um storm off however you need to so you
can actually keep up with stuff that's
out there
along with that it is nice to have
the
sorry the ability to look at feeds
and find feeds that maybe you don't use
so you can you know like now i don't
subscribe to techcrunch but maybe i
decide i want to and so now it's going
to show up next time around let's see if
it's run yet it probably hasn't oh it
has so techcrunch has already run
and pulled in
you know 20 articles and it does go back
like this is not going to pull
um
it doesn't pull starting from like the
moment you create the feed
it's whatever is available on the feed
which is usually
maybe sometimes a day or two back it
depends on what it is this one goes back
uh a couple of days
so now i can see you know some articles
that are out there
and some of them you're going to see
this others you're going to see oh i
don't have portable apps that sometimes
has some a little more fun stuff to it
but now i can you know take a look at
those articles and add that to my list
particularly if i go to all now i'm
subscribed to a lot of feeds but you see
here
i've got literally
you know i literally probably have a
thousand articles that i could go
through if i wanted to but a lot of this
like for example here i don't care about
say the clippers eliminating the jazz i
can crank through some of this stuff
very quickly as i want to
and
and or focus on specific articles like i
said more coming
as particularly with filtering and
searching
uh as we as we move forward and it is
open to
suggestions and requests so as people
start to use it and they have their own
needs and and benefits to it
then we'll add those in
there's you can use the posting feature
to speed your shares on social sites
currently there's very limited sites
that it works with
facebook just changed their stuff so
there's
it does not work it worked well with
facebook up until about two months ago
they changed their api as they do
and uh currently it's broken and i'm not
sure if i'm going to chase that down or
not
and i'm not sure whether that will
impact trying to go to like an instagram
but there are other sites out there and
so that is you know part of the roadmap
is to periodically add new sites and
expand the ability of what you can
actually post to
uh as i said the bonus adding feeds for
others so you can find feeds that are
out there without having to do searches
you know google searches for rss feeds
and then you can also provide feeds for
others for example i highly recommend
and you know if you have a site if
you've got a blog throw yours out there
others may subscribe to it and get your
readership up
as i mentioned
it's set up
it's set up so that you can email info
at developernoor.com for any bugs or
feature requests
and that'll be you know take those on as
as we can because this will be
definitely a work in progress and being
one of those things that is a scratch
your own itch since something that i use
on a regular basis there will
constantly and there are there are
steady
uh changes and updates to it
that are made available
that being said uh questions and
comments
can this be used as a marketing tool
as a marketing tool no can it be used as
a marketing tool
oh definitely i mean you can definitely
use it to because you can as as you've
seen with this one that's one of the
things that i do
is um like for example
if i go back and look at like i've got
development or
so this site
i've got all of the stuff that's coming
through on developing or and i can
easily say hey i just put this thing out
and that's a lot of my history
is
uh if i go look for developer newer yeah
so there's a
uh
i have to spell it right there we go and
so there's um and the sources are here
so i can see all these little places
where i have posted my articles out to
different places so for example here's a
developer newer article
this one out to my twitter and linkedin
and it's like i said again it's an easy
way to do so so i can schedule that out
to
any of my social places and definitely
from a marketing point of view i can
share not only articles that i've
written and my own content but things
that i find useful that
whatever my platform is you know
followers may likely will find those
useful as well

26.96

and so now okay so let's take a look

29.679

in the posting article actually i guess

31.359

there's two things here let's go back to

33.28

first

34.32

uh we did i showed you some of the

35.92

basics about it is that you can schedule

37.76

it um you could have one that's just

39.76

posted and just sort of save it for

41.2

yourself

43.28

and you actually there's a feature that

44.879

you can actually create your own rss

46.32

feed but that's an advanced thing i'm

48.16

not going to cover it's also a

50.32

sort of a 2.0 feature that has not been

52.48

fully tested

54.64

so what i can do is i can pick a target

57.68

i can push something into the future so

59.68

if i want to do this on the 25th

62.48

and i'm going to pick a

64.08

that guy

65.6

slots i'll show you in a second so i'm

66.88

going to duplicate it and i'm going to

68.08

get a couple of these just so we've got

70

a few here

72.24

and then same thing and let's do it

75.6

again on 7 30. so and i'm going to post

78.96

that and now you can see where those

80.56

were showing up if i go to my schedule

86.799

i can see oh this is what's

91.04

i got so oh because i already marked

92.72

these as posted so these are actually

94.24

going to be

95.439

i'm just restoring these out right now

97.119

these have not actually been posted i

98.56

should have scheduled these that was my

99.84

mistake so i can go in

102.159

with each of those i can repost it so if

104.64

i do a repost it's just like a duplicate

106.64

so it's going to come in with the

107.6

original information

109.28

i can schedule it and then i can give it

111.439

you know some date in the far future or

114

in the future

116.159

so if i do that and post it

118.88

oh i can post it somewhere so i post it

120.96

here post it

122.479

now it's going to show up there's that

124.159

august one so that shows up in there

128.239

if i go to my schedule i can see with

129.84

now because that has not been

132

posted

133.44

i can go in i can take a look at it and

135.599

i can actually remove it because it has

137.2

not been posted

140.4

now the other thing in a post is there's

142.959

this little slots thing and this allows

145.36

you to do

146.64

uh time slots ahead of

148.879

um

150.16

ahead of sort of to set up your own

152.08

social schedule

154

so i could say

155.28

every monday at

157.36

uh let's say 8 a.m

159.92

i'm gonna post uh and i'm going to tie

161.76

this i'm going to tie this to a specific

163.28

target so on this target i created

166

i want to have monday

168.16

at 8

170.8

monday at let's say 10

175.599

and let's see i'm going to assume this

177.12

is still working because i think it just

178.239

didn't refresh on me so now if i look at

180.319

my time slots

185.44

oh it's not coming out right so let me

187.36

see what did i do

192.8

i may have broken something

202.64

make sure i got this right

206.48

don't valentine

211.2

something's not right on this let me try

213.44

it on a different one i may have just

215.12

found a bug okay let me log out and go

217.04

to a regular one

220.239

where i have some

225.12

i'll just skip ahead to this

227.68

so now

228.879

uh this one

230.799

and so i've come through and i've got

232.08

all of these different

234.319

uh slots that i've created you can see

236

so i've got posting to different targets

238.4

on a sunday a monday

241.12

um

242.08

oh and that's where it is so that thing

244.4

was giving

247.84

yeah so it came into the wrong slide so

249.599

there's a little bug there that it was

250.799

posting it was adding the queue to the

252.319

wrong place

254.64

but what i can do is i can come in and

256.56

create new ones so let's do sunday at

259.68

i don't know two in the afternoon

262.16

i'm gonna post to one of these

264.96

and i'm gonna see here that that

267.36

just showed up

268.639

now what i have from the let me delete a

270.479

couple of those i can delete them and so

272.56

they won't show up

275

[Music]

279.52

let's get rid of that and that because i

282.24

already had those

283.919

let's get rid of that

287.52

so 7 11 and note that i can make it it

290

doesn't have to be like a set time

292.16

particularly

293.68

and then what happens when i go in and

295.04

do a post

297.199

oops

299.12

well here's

301.44

let me go to an article and just post

302.8

something real quick

305.36

let's see so if i do

306.72

[Music]

308.639

let's pick something let's go something

310.24

off of uh

311.759

let's do smashing

315.759

so here we go i like this guy so if i'm

317.6

gonna do a post

319.039

now what i can do here is

324

can pick a slot and it's going to set

326.4

the time for me so let's say i wanted to

328

do

329.36

i'm going to push this as linkedin

330.96

tuesday at 10 o'clock i'm going to use

332.72

that slot

334.08

so now what it did

336.639

is there's where the slot is this is the

338.56

next tuesday

340.72

uh you know currently it is saturday the

342.479

19th so it's going to just jump ahead

344.56

and right now it's only a week ahead so

346.72

you can do it for the week ahead

348.4

and that's a quick way to set a time i

350.24

can give it the target

352.8

and

354.08

post it and now i'm off and running so

356.56

linkedin on tuesday if i go look

360.72

at my schedule i'm going to see

364.639

what was that the one that was

367.039

smashing there we go so i can see here

369.039

although this is sort of small let's

370.56

even blow this up a little bit

373.919

so here's where i have that scheduled

375.52

out and if i look at the detailed

377.28

history i can see

378.88

really not a whole lot to it

380.72

if i look at

382.96

gosh go away

386.08

if i go to

388.1

[Music]

392.24

let's go here i think i had on history

393.919

where did i put my history oh activity

396.16

here we go

397.6

so this thing this is an older account

399.44

so i've got i can see stuff all the way

401.759

back what have i done now i can go back

403.6

and say well what did i do with this

405.52

article for example

407.44

and i look at the history i can see this

409.28

thing

410.16

i posted it on october 8th at 9 16

414.88

to three different places i went to

416.8

twitter looks like it went there three

418.24

times i must have been testing something

420.24

now even though

421.68

and this is actually i broke this

423.52

account out so this is a target uh

425.44

currently that doesn't exist but i have

426.96

it for historical purposes

428.96

uh development or twitter i'm not

430.4

actually posting that these days

433.12

but i could still turn around and do a

434.479

repost and it's going to give me the

436.479

original article stuff i had like here

439.36

for example i did a little hashtag aws

441.599

that i threw in there

444.88

and now it's scheduled for essentially

447.039

you know today i can schedule it out i

449.28

can pick a slot which just doesn't have

451.36

any right now

454.8

and i can go off and running so that's

457.36

an interesting thing is that the repost

458.96

doesn't have slots

465.759

but i also can still go back from here

468.08

on the history i can see where the prior

469.759

post was and this is almost getting a

471.919

little bit unreal because i'm blowing

473.12

the text up so big but now i can get

474.56

back to

475.52

oh i'm sorry i didn't want to drag and

476.879

drop but i can see the original article

480.16

and if i wanted and like you can see

481.919

here the content's pretty thorough this

484

is one

485.36

um oh i think this was from developer

487.44

nor is that what it was

490.879

um no this is from aws so aws feedburner

494.479

so this is amazon's feedburner and

496.479

they've got even including like uh you

498.319

know videos embedded all this stuff is

500.24

in the article itself or

502.96

i can jump back to

506.56

the original here

510.319

which i'm either going to click on the

511.52

link or i think it's down at the bottom

513.839

it wasn't

515.12

oh i don't have the original link

516.24

necessarily built in here

518.719

but i can

520.719

take that

522.479

and let's see if it still exists

529.76

and it does

531.92

and so you see where it's you know this

533.519

thing's although it was from a while

535.279

back

536.08

uh we can still see

538.08

roughly like i said theirs is going to

539.279

be formatted a little bit differently

541.6

but we'll probably see the video there

542.88

you go video down at the bottom

545.68

and so you can actually go back and see

547.2

something that even if you weren't so

549.04

you know even if you signed up today and

550.8

registered you'd be able to go back and

552.24

see some of these older articles so it's

554.08

a great way

555.44

uh to come back and and see what was out

557.6

there

558.72

and also to track

560.64

i use it also it's a great way to track

562.32

as a repository for information track

564.399

stuff that maybe gets rolled off of a

566.24

site

567.04

this is actually very useful

568.56

particularly if you wanted to do

569.839

something like a link to

572.16

maybe a software version or something

573.68

like that that you know maybe that stuff

575.12

sort of falls off the site but the

577.36

the link is still there

579.76

or instructions that sometimes get

581.92

updated over time

583.76

for example let's say you've got

586.24

an article on java that's an older

588.48

instructional article you want to keep

590.24

it even though it over time it's

592

obviously going to disappear as new

593.36

versions come out

594.72

you can have that stuff out there

597.68

so it's again like i said it's a

600

it is a 1.0 version of an interface but

604.32

uh it's something i've started to use i

606.24

use actually regularly now uh you can it

609.279

is um

611.44

if you go here

612.8

i don't know how well you can see it but

614.24

it is

615.76

um i guess this background crap out of

618.16

the way

621.36

is you can actually do it on a phone as

622.959

well so i could come in and i i do on a

625.279

regular basis so i can come in i can

626.8

take a look at articles

628.32

and i can go through and i can read them

630.959

or or mark them as read

634.32

and it's going to give you the same kind

635.92

of an experience so it is a

638.399

great way to have a reader that's

639.519

available to you wherever

642.16

you want to read articles and you know

644.64

handle some of your social networking

646.399

kinds of stuff

650.32

let's jump back to the presentation

654.8

so as a

655.92

wrapping up sort of what we've learned

658.959

so the reader and promoter is uh

661.04

hopefully you've seen that it's a simple

662.48

tool for reading articles that's that is

664.8

uh while you can post the the nicest

667.44

thing about it i found so far and the

669.279

thing that i've really focused on

670.56

streamlining is the ability to subscribe

672.8

to a feed see the latest articles mark

675.68

them as read share them

677.76

um storm off however you need to so you

679.76

can actually keep up with stuff that's

682.079

out there

683.04

along with that it is nice to have

685.839

the

687.36

sorry the ability to look at feeds

690.959

and find feeds that maybe you don't use

693.2

so you can you know like now i don't

694.72

subscribe to techcrunch but maybe i

696.24

decide i want to and so now it's going

698.64

to show up next time around let's see if

700.32

it's run yet it probably hasn't oh it

702.079

has so techcrunch has already run

704.16

and pulled in

705.44

you know 20 articles and it does go back

707.6

like this is not going to pull

709.68

um

711.2

it doesn't pull starting from like the

712.959

moment you create the feed

714.72

it's whatever is available on the feed

716.88

which is usually

718.399

maybe sometimes a day or two back it

719.92

depends on what it is this one goes back

722.32

uh a couple of days

724.72

so now i can see you know some articles

726.8

that are out there

728.16

and some of them you're going to see

729.36

this others you're going to see oh i

731.04

don't have portable apps that sometimes

732.399

has some a little more fun stuff to it

735.6

but now i can you know take a look at

737.6

those articles and add that to my list

740.16

particularly if i go to all now i'm

742.16

subscribed to a lot of feeds but you see

743.76

here

744.72

i've got literally

746.16

you know i literally probably have a

747.68

thousand articles that i could go

748.959

through if i wanted to but a lot of this

750.959

like for example here i don't care about

752.56

say the clippers eliminating the jazz i

754.48

can crank through some of this stuff

756.8

very quickly as i want to

758.88

and

760.24

and or focus on specific articles like i

762.88

said more coming

765.44

as particularly with filtering and

767.12

searching

768.079

uh as we as we move forward and it is

770.48

open to

771.68

suggestions and requests so as people

774.24

start to use it and they have their own

776.8

needs and and benefits to it

779.519

then we'll add those in

782

there's you can use the posting feature

783.36

to speed your shares on social sites

785.6

currently there's very limited sites

787.36

that it works with

788.88

facebook just changed their stuff so

790.48

there's

791.44

it does not work it worked well with

793.279

facebook up until about two months ago

795.04

they changed their api as they do

797.44

and uh currently it's broken and i'm not

799.279

sure if i'm going to chase that down or

800.72

not

802.16

and i'm not sure whether that will

803.519

impact trying to go to like an instagram

805.92

but there are other sites out there and

807.839

so that is you know part of the roadmap

809.6

is to periodically add new sites and

812.32

expand the ability of what you can

814.16

actually post to

815.92

uh as i said the bonus adding feeds for

818.32

others so you can find feeds that are

820.24

out there without having to do searches

822.32

you know google searches for rss feeds

824.8

and then you can also provide feeds for

826.8

others for example i highly recommend

829.44

and you know if you have a site if

830.639

you've got a blog throw yours out there

833.04

others may subscribe to it and get your

835.04

readership up

837.04

as i mentioned

838.72

it's set up

840.079

it's set up so that you can email info

842.32

at developernoor.com for any bugs or

844.8

feature requests

848.399

and that'll be you know take those on as

850.72

as we can because this will be

852.72

definitely a work in progress and being

854.959

one of those things that is a scratch

856.48

your own itch since something that i use

858.56

on a regular basis there will

860.56

constantly and there are there are

861.839

steady

862.8

uh changes and updates to it

865.279

that are made available

867.839

that being said uh questions and

869.839

comments

876.639

can this be used as a marketing tool

881.279

as a marketing tool no can it be used as

883.839

a marketing tool

885.44

oh definitely i mean you can definitely

886.959

use it to because you can as as you've

889.279

seen with this one that's one of the

890.56

things that i do

891.92

is um like for example

895.76

if i go back and look at like i've got

897.76

development or

899.68

so this site

901.04

i've got all of the stuff that's coming

902.32

through on developing or and i can

904.16

easily say hey i just put this thing out

906.24

and that's a lot of my history

909.44

is

910.8

uh if i go look for developer newer yeah

913.76

so there's a

914.8

uh

920.48

i have to spell it right there we go and

922.079

so there's um and the sources are here

924.399

so i can see all these little places

926.079

where i have posted my articles out to

929.68

different places so for example here's a

931.519

developer newer article

934.56

this one out to my twitter and linkedin

938.24

and it's like i said again it's an easy

939.92

way to do so so i can schedule that out

942.079

to

942.88

any of my social places and definitely

945.199

from a marketing point of view i can

946.8

share not only articles that i've

948.72

written and my own content but things

950.72

that i find useful that

953.04

whatever my platform is you know

954.72

followers may likely will find those

956.88

useful as well

960.4
