In this episode, we continue our discussion with Chris Myles and explore how to define and go about automating your processes. Along the way, we also look at motivation and finding ways to keep things interesting as you grow your business or career. The two topics go hand-in-hand as you will find your greatest happiness when you outsource the tasks you do not enjoy. Go ahead, and keep the fun things for your to-do lists.

Automating Your Processes

The first step in moving towards delegation or automation is to define your processes so they can be easily communicated. This step can be challenging at times as we are not always clear about what we do. There are steps we take almost unconsciously that we forget to list in instructions. Thus, you need to document and test your results to ensure you adequately captured and defined the process. Once you have that done, it is much easier to take the next step of delegating it to someone else.

Blogger Evolution is where the magic happens! You can find all the tools he uses to run his online businesses, podcast show notes, and the popular and FREE Passive Income Workshop. It is where he shows aspiring entrepreneurs the exact steps on how he built a passive income. That income lead to retiring his wife and quitting his job to spend more time with family.

From Chris: I married in 2013 and found out we were pregnant with our first son in 2016. My wife sat me down and explained why she needed to quit her $ 40k-a-year job to provide “mommy-care” and not resort to “day-care.”

So, I started with niche blogging, YouTube, and affiliate marketing. Eighteen months later, we were making enough to pay off our debt and retire my wife.

I am a self-proclaimed Seinfeld and the Office nerd and a huge sucker for a good Marvel Movie. I’m passionate about investing and online business, so let’s chat and get booked!
